Young Women’s Alliance Deploys Tendenci-Powered Website

The Young Women’s Alliance announced it has selected the Tendenci online management software to power the site.

Utilizing a template designed by Schipul, a web marketing company, the new website has a new look with simple ways to navigate.

Along with Young Women’s Alliance’s monthly meetings, the website serves as a focal point for the organization. With Tendenci, the new Web site not only connects and updates members, it allows for new members to join and pay, collects annual dues, and handles event promotion, registration and payment.

“As an organization run by volunteers, having a Tendenci-powered Web site is like having professional staff to do some of the time consuming things that nobody wants to do but have to get done,” said Lori Hodge, president of the Young Women’s Alliance. “With the help of our new website, we can expand our reach and make a deeper impact on the community by providing opportunities that empower professional women to discover their potential.”

The website also promotes the Young Women’s Alliance Foundation, which supports girls and young women in Central Texas. With Tendenci, donors can submit a monetary donation online and charge it to their credit card
